Park is a one-day open air event in Berlin. Its purpose is to celebrate life, art, ourselves and each other. Park is about art in the trees, art in the air, art you can eat or wear.
The possibility of living in harmony with one another and nature has been imagined in a succession of forms. From paintings of Arcadia to botanical gardens, humans have thoughout history repeatedly set themselves in imaginary or recreated places of the Garden of Eden.
Park aims to re-enact the tradition of Arcadia, in which people enjoy the simple pleasures of each other’s company and the countryside. Park invites you to experience the richness of life in the context of public sphere and in an environment among friends.
Everyone is invited to join in and appreciate life and all the best we can offer and give each other. Pack a picnic, invite your friends and loved ones. Bring your favorite dish, homemade cake or drinks to share with one another.
Park is an opportunity to show site specific artwork, too. So bring your artwork, make a costume or prepare a performance.


Park has been held for the first time in August 2007 in Mauerpark, Berlin.
